Day 32/366

The weather this morning was bright and sunny yet the temperature was 4 degrees. Did my walk after dropping the girls at school. I walked the same direction as yesterday and walked inside the garden for a while before heading back home. On my way back home I dropped into a cafe that I have been seeing the past few days. It was a french patisserie and the smell of the place the minute I opened the door was amazing! I could smell the fresh breads and croissants. I decided to try their spinach and feta roll and a big chocolate chunky upside down cookie. After getting home, the first thing offcourse would be to try the new things and so I did! Oh boy! I was addicted instantly! The warm rolls and the delicious chunky cookies were just lip smacking good!! After devouring on all of that, I did some cleaning and made a few calls. Nothing productive was done this morning unfortunately as I have been feeling all sorts of emotions and just don't sometimes understand what is going on. Browsed the internet for some random stuff, took shower, had a quick lunch and then my usual nap!

After picking the girls from school, they watched some kids video on the television and then we got to work. They are celebrating number day at school tomorrow and have been asked to dress up and have a number of their choice displayed on their dress or even hold them in their hands. So my older one , the competitive one, chose 100 and my younger one, who only wanted to be 6 just like her older sister first chose 6 but later decided to change it to 60. I had a few small card board pieces cut out so that they could draw and colour their numbers on them. We spend a lot of time coloring these and it was a fun activity to do together too. Appu was home by the time we finished our painting and so while he was chatting to the girls, I quickly made dinner. The girls went to bed after dinner and prayers and I could tell they were really tired. I sat. alittle while to do the rest of the puzzle but I feel it is getting harder now. Will see how it goes.
