Day 41/366

The girls were up in the morning as usual. I guess they are already set in a routine when they got to school so they automatically wake up at the same time everyday now, be it weekday or weekend. Appu went for a walk in the morning after the girls finished breakfast. My older one was busy reading her story book so my younger one and I played a game of snake and ladder (picture above). After Appu got back, we got ready to go out. The inside of our car needed cleaning and we decided to go to a nearby car wash place to get it cleaned. Unfortunately the temporary accommodation we are at doesn't have a power supply so we couldn't clean it with the machine at our place. We had found a place to go but when we got there it was closed. We then tried our luck at 2 other places but both the places the machine was faulty. Tired, we decided to go for lunch as it was almost time and the girls were hungry by now.

We happen to pass by a pub which looked very nice from the outside (picture above). We decided to go in and we were very pleased. It was not an ordinary pub but was a bit of fine dining. Not being dressed for it we felt a bit odd but then soon saw a few others who didn't seem dressed either which gave me solace as I don't think Appu or the girls were even bothered. LOL! The food was absolutely delicious and the lady who attended us was very polite and was accommodative of the choices we made especially for the girls. She recommended a few dishes and we took her advice and were very happy. We did not have space for dessert at the time so decided to go home instead.

Once we got home and parked the car, the girls wanted to have something sweet and we decided to walk around for a bit. We all ended up buying something sweet (picture above) for ourselves and walked back home to relish them as quickly as possible. After we had gobbled our desserts, Appu tried a hand at cleaning the car with whatever we had and girls went off to play. I started preparing dinner. The girls were tired after a while and thankfully when they came "HANGRY', dinner was ready. So they had dinner and went off to sleep. Appu and me were also very tired so after about an hour or so after the girls went to bed, we also did.
