Another day with the girls at home. Appu went to work a bit late today and said he would be back late too. The girls said they didn't want to go out this morning for a walk and we could not have anyways as it was raining again. I had ordered rain jackets for the girls and we had to go pick it up today so we decided to wait till after lunch to go out. The girls played with some toys (picture below) at home while I did some work at home.

After lunch, thankfully the rain was gone but it was still cool outside, we decided to go for a walk. We did our usual walk and then went to the shop to collect the rain jackets. The mall was crowded than usual as it school mid term breaks. The girls happen to meet a few of their friends on our way back home. They were very excited to see them outside of school for the first time. Kept looking at their friends and giggling but didn't stand to talk. Once we got home, my older one asked if she could have some mixed berry juice. Thankfully I had frozen berries in the freezer and I mixed it with coconut water and cane sugar in the blender. They both had a glass each (picture below) and I saved some for Appu once he gets home too.

Dinner tonight was homemade pizza. I had made the dough in the morning and left it to rise and made the pizza sauce (my usual recipe with cauliflower, broccolli and tomato) once we got back after our walk. The girls had a simple margherita pizza and I topped Appu and my pizza with some veggies and cheese (picture below) . I felt extremely tired today and I felt it probably was because I did not manage to take a nap int he afternoon. I just could manage to stay awake after the girls went to bed so I decided to go to sleep early tonight. Hopefully feel better tomorrow.
