Day 46/366

Well since Appu was at home and I had gone to bed a bit late , I slept in a bit longer than usual. The girls woke up a bit later too. Appu gave them milk and then I went to get breakfast sorted. We decided to take it easy today after a whole day of walking and travelling yesterday at London. Until after lunch, we were all at home just relaxing and not doing much. Appu had some work to finish regarding the house hunting and sorting mortgages. Like I mentioned we do have a few houses shortlisted and we are working on the next steps. Which at this point is sorting mortgages and talking to solicitor. After lunch, Appu took the girls out to the park for some time while I stayed home and finished some work. After the girls got back home from the park, gave them a quick shower and then we had dinner. Since it is lent season, I do try that once in a while the girls also have a vegetarian meal. I must say they have been enjoying it so far and I am glad that they do. For tonight's dinner, I made the traditional Kerala rice soup and green gram with coconut (picture below) . The girls enjoyed it with some green mango pickle that was store bought.

We plan to go visit Appu's cousin brother tomorrow and it is a 2 hour drive from where we stay so his brother has kindly asked us to stay for the night so that we won't have to travel back with the girls at night and can spend some quality time with them. They have a daughter who is a doctor and lives away from where the family stays as the work demands it. My girls are definitely looking forward to meeting family and spending time with people as that is one main thing they have been missing since we got to England.
