Day 47/366

We left from home all packed and ready at around 10 am though we had planned to leave earlier. Nevertheless , we were up and moving. The girls had had their breakfast so were ok and just kept talking to each other and I tried to entertain them after a while by playing their favourite songs in the car. We stopped on the way at a service station as before we head to Appu's cousin's house, we plan to visit one of Appu's school classmate's house who lives where we used to the last time Appu and I lived here in England. We have met them the last time we lived here in England and they have been here since the time we left. They have 2 kids, the older one is 16 years old girl and the younger boy is 6 years old. He is about 2 weeks older to my older girl. My girls were excited to meet them. I got them some flowers and goodies at the service station. We got to their place at around 11.45 am. Spend some great time catching up and talking about how life in general was since we last met. We had lunch together at their place. Food was very delicious and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. After lunch, Appu's friend's wife, their older daughter and I went around to walk in the town centre. Wanted to see where we lived the last time (picture below) we were here and how things have changed since we left. There was a sense of nostalgia and excitement as we started walking around. Such lovely memories. We strolled around and saw a few new stores that weren't there the last time and had a bubble tea too. The place especially the town centre had changed so much that it was unrecognisable. But was a beautiful change. We got back to their house and left to Appu's cousin's house, which was another 30 mins drive from their house. The girls at this point was very tired so they took a quick nap as we drove to the cousin's house.

By the time got to his hosue, the girls had had their power nap and were recharged, which was helpful as otherwise they would have been cranky and sleepy around 7 pm and we all wouldn't have been able to enjoy our time together. The cousin and his wife were so kind and loving. The girls bonded instantly and walked around the house as if it were their own. The cousin made the girls enjoy their time at their house and even put on the television and played their favourite show too. They had ordered some special quiche that was made by one of his Italian friend. It was delicious. We talked for a while and Appu's cousin entertained us with some music that he played on his guitar. The girls had a great time. By 9.30 pm, we were all ready to go to bed. We all took a shower and went to bed.
