Day 48/366

We were all up by 7.30 am. The girls had a cup of milk and we had planned to go out to have breakfast with Appu's cousin and his wife. The place we wanted to go was a 20 mins drive from his cousin's house. It was raining a bit (picture above )but the drive was not too long either. Thankfully by the time we reached the place and had parked our cars, the rain had stopped. We went to a mexican joint named GORDO for breakfast. The restaurant itself is very highly rated and to get a table for lunch, we need to book atleast 4 weeks in advance. The food was delicious. Wish I had taken a picture but got so excited that it never crossed my mind. After breakfast, we walked around the town centre for a while and then got back home. We wanted to get back to our place (another 2 hours journey) before it got too dark so after a while we left from his cousin's place.

We decided to take a break and meet one of our friends from when we lived here the last time. The husband used to work in the same company as Appu but now he has moved to another company. We have been in touch all this while and we met them last year in Singapore when they had then come visiting their family. We had lunch with them and they have a daughter who is a year older than my older one so the 3 girls happily played with each other and had a good time too.

We then drove back home and went out to get some dinner as it was late and it would take time for me to sort dinner. The girls wanted KFC chicken and garlic bread. Appu and I bought some vegetable noodles. After dinner, we watched 'Hells Kitchen' on television before all of us went to bed as we were all tired by the end of the day and had to wake up early to go to church tomorrow.
