When days start to feel monotonous, it can be helpful to inject some variety and new experiences into your routine. Here are some suggestions to break the monotony and add excitement to your days:
1. Explore a new hobby: Pick up a new hobby or revisit an old one that you've been meaning to pursue. Whether it's painting, playing a musical instrument, cooking, gardening, or photography, exploring your interests can bring a sense of joy and fulfillment.
2. Try new activities: Step out of your comfort zone and try activities you've never done before. Take a dance class, try a new sport or workout routine, attend a virtual workshop or seminar, or go on an outdoor adventure like hiking or kayaking.
3. Connect with others: Reach out to friends or family members and plan activities together, such as a virtual game night, outdoor picnic, or a hike. Social interaction and shared experiences can add excitement and break the monotony of daily routines.

So we tried something new today, ORIGAMI! Origami is the art of paper folding, originating from Japan. It is a creative and enjoyable activity that can be done by people of all ages. Origami is a great activity for kids too as it helps develop their cognitive abilities, dexterity, and problem-solving skills. It can also inspire their imagination and teach them about geometry and symmetry. We had a origami kit to make different types of dinosaurs. The girls had a great time watching how a piece of paper turned into a dinosaur! Though they needed my help quite a bit, they enjoyed playing with the origami dinosaurs.

Later in the day we went to the nearby Public library. The library was huge and had a vast number of books to read and different varieties of study material for various age groups. We read a couple of books together and spend quite some time at the library today. Girls would surely like to go back again soon!
The struggles of a mother especially when with kids at home are many but remember to see the light at the end of the tunnel and be sure, this shall also pass.
