Day 9/366

Today's flower was California Poppy. This is a native to California and Mexico and flowers throughout the summer months in vibrant shades of orange , red and yellow. It is also the official state flower of California. As I add each flower to my lego flower bouquet, I feel like a child excited to see the final results.

I have a question to ask my dear readers. How do you all start your day? Do you believe in daily affirmations? This morning was sunny and my girls and I decided to go out for a walk and soak in some sunlight. Though the sun was out, the wind was blowing on our face and it was so cold. We decided to do some winter clothes shopping. Spend some time shopping and then we went for a quick bite to a nearby cafe. On our way back, did some grocery shopping and by the time we got home, the kids and I were very tired. We had a late lunch, but the kids really enjoyed the homemade pizza. It is one of their favourites. Happy girls, Happy Ammu!
